The weather page gives various weather predictions for Burton Sailing Club. The most useful for wind is WindGuru. This gives a breakdown every three hours or every hour. This now is an old forecast (12h) for the 1 hour variant. The Met Office also has a Burton on Trent local weather but only gives one wind speed during the day(12 noon). The BBC weather gives a map version for East midlandsIt now updates wind every 6 hours but the arrow size is not converted into wind strengths. The X C Weather is based on US information and seems very similar to wind guru. You have to place the curser over the East Midlands weather arrow for a four hour prediction of Wind in our area. |
