Burton SC Members’ Group
There has already been strong interest in this group, which would be a very useful method of advertising for things such as:
- Duty
swaps.
- Adverts
for crews wanted.
- Distribution
of sailing or social event details.
- Other
club related news items.
The more club members that join the better the effectiveness
of this group.
Anyone who is a member of the group can submit notices, and everyone in the group has the option to receive updates via email, and/or simply by visiting to the notice board from time to time.
You have to be a member of the group to post and view
notices.
Membership of the group will be restricted to BSC club
members (there is a public Burton SC notice board already).
Note, as the group is email based you have to signup to Google groups as well as accepting the invite.
Instructions
2 If you don’t have a google groups account Click the “Join”
link in the top left corner.
Then follow the simple joining instructions. - you must use
the email address you want to use for posting and receiving as the userID. You will be immediately sent a validation
email that you must accept to complete the signup, this verifies your email
address.
3. Then back at the link in step 1) , you can either click the “apply for membership”, or “contact the owner” links. We will then add you as quickly as we can.
